Ferté-Saint-Aubin
- Very interesting castle built in 16th and 17th century 21 km S from Orleans. Needs some repairs, but this was the castle with most life in it from all of this trip - true live animals for instance (no plastic statues with sound recordings as at some other places), usable historic kitchen with demonstration, etc. There is also a small train station with historic trains.
